The Student Associates program gives current students a special, low-cost opportunity to become involved in Independent Sector's work and to take advantage of members-only resources. Student associate membership includes access to cutting edge analysis of public policies affecting the nonprofit and philanthropic sector and of emerging trends in programs and practice. It also provides the ability to subscribe to updates on key issues through electronic briefings such as:

• Daily Policy Digest, detailing the latest developments in legislation and regulation;  
• Daily Media Digest, containing full versions of stories affecting the nonprofit community from major media sources;   
• IS CONNECTS, our monthly electronic newsletter summarizing IS’s recent work; and
• Alerts on breaking news and developments of broad interest to the sector.
