AXA
AXA Group and AXA Financial, Inc. have committed $10 million toward a $15 million worldwide corporate fundraising campaign. The "AXA 9/11 Relief Fund" will support ongoing disaster relief efforts. AXA will donate $10 million based on a $2-for-$1 matching gift program coordinated by the AXA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of New York-based AXA Financial. It is anticipated that AXA employees and associates will donate $5 million or more in individual contributions, for a total contribution of $15 million.

Lumina Foundation for Education
In response to the devastating events of September 11, Lumina Foundation for Education is partnering with the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America (CSFA) to initiate a scholarship fund to assist families who suffered direct losses in the "Attack on America." Lumina Foundation has pledged $3 million to create the "Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund"—$2 million outright and $1 million as a dollar-for-dollar matching grant to encourage contributions from individuals. The New York Community Trust and United Way
The New York Community Trust and the United Way of New York City, supported by United Way of America and the Council on Foundations, have created the September 11th Fund to mobilize financial resources for the victims of the tragic events in New York City and other communities. Launched with a donation of $1 million from Williams Gas Pipeline, the fund will provide support through emergency assistance to agencies and nonprofits.

The New York Women's Foundation
The foundation, the only public U.S. foundation dedicated solely to low-income women and girls in New York City, has established a special disaster relief fund for nonprofits helping low-income women and girls directly affected by the September 11 tragedy.  The fund will support small, community-based nonprofits in their efforts to deliver increased services to their client populations.

Robin Hood
Donations to the Robin Hood Relief Fund will help the families of the heroic firefighters, police officers, and rescue workers, and also the cafeteria workers, shoeshine people, and thousands of others who have suffered immeasurably. Robin Hood's board will underwrite all administrative costs so that 100 percent of monies donated to the relief fund will go directly to aiding victims and their families.

The Saint Paul Foundation
The Saint Paul Foundation and its statewide affiliate, Minnesota Foundation, have been raising money to aid the relief efforts. The Saint Paul Foundation fund was seeded with $25,000 and has received 78 gifts totaling approximately $85,145. The Minnesota Foundation is offering online giving on several local company websites. They have received 155 gifts for a total of $8,485, and another eight gifts were received at the Foundation totaling $6,900.
