There is a great need for leaders who work across lines of difference to solve social problems. The Sustained
Dialogue Campus Network (SDCN) shows young people how to use dialogue and
action to create more cohesive, engaged, and diverse communities.
SDCN
supports a network of change agents on 14 college campuses across the country
and around the globe.It engages
students in Sustained Dialogue, a unique and powerful process for building
relationships and catalyzing social action. Participants learn how to cross social
divisions of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith, and political
affiliation so diverse groups can work toward a common purpose. SD alumni bring their equity, problem solving, and
communication skills with them into every field and sector, transforming
relationships and improving their new workplaces and communities.
The young leaders in SCDN contribute
to the social capital, openness, and engagement necessary for campuses,
workplaces, and communities to thrive and serve all of their members. Learn more about this impact at www.sdcampusnetwork.org/impact.
