NGen

Independent Sector’s NGen: Moving Nonprofit Leaders From Next to Now builds the capacity of nonprofit and philanthropic leaders age 40 and under to have significant impact on society’s toughest challenges. Over the past five years, NGen leaders have addressed society’s most complex leadership challenges, realized personal growth, and accessed a strong network of visionary, committed leaders. Emerging leaders in NGen have opportunities for:

  • Professional and leadership development,
  • Networking and peer support,
  • Connections with established sector leaders, and
  • Recognition for achievements.

The NGen program contributes to the cultivation of new talent, empowers NGeners to contribute to their organizations, and emphasizes the role of emerging leaders in the development of the broader nonprofit community.
