In 2009, Independent Sector partnered with BoardSource to create the Principles Workbook: Steering Your Board Toward Good Governance and Ethical Practice. The workbook was designed to encourage boards and staff to review and implement the 33 practices recommended by the Principles for Good Governance and Ethical Practice.

BoardSource and Independent Sector are pleased to offer a series of webinars to further assist nonprofit boards and staff members in determining how to apply the Principles most effectively to their operations. These presentations draw on the workbook's practical approach and offer specific guidance on selected principles.

These exceptional webinars are free to staff at Independent Sector member organizations. Non-members can also participate, at the cost of $100 per session. If a non-member organization joins Independent Sector by March 31, the fees will be credited toward membership dues. For information about the dues schedule, click here.
