A key element of Lutheran Services in America’s focus on aging services is its Growth Ready initiative –- seeking out innovative programs for delivering care to a burgeoning population of aging Americans, so these programs can be replicated to build our collective capacity. 

LSA also provides its member organizations with tools and techniques that link service and advocacy on issues like health care, child welfare, and affordable housing. It seeks to break boundaries in volunteer service, finding ways to cultivate people of all ages with passion and talent.

Lutheran Services in America has more than 310 member organizations and two Lutheran denominations throughout the United States and Caribbean and serves more than six million people –- or one in every 50 Americans –- every year with a broad range of health and human services from adoption to veterans support.
