(WASHINGTON, December 14, 2010) -- Today President Obama established the White House Council for Community Solutions and announced his intent to appoint 25 individuals to the Council.
They include Independent Sector President and CEO Diana Aviv and the leaders of five IS member organizations:
- Jim Canales – President and CEO of The James Irvine Foundation
- Jim Gibbons – President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International
- Judith Rodin – President of the Rockefeller Foundation
- Paul Schmitz - National CEO of Public Allies and IS Board Member
- Jill Schumann - President and CEO of Lutheran Services in America
