PPAI: What Will the Elections Mean for the Nonprofit Sector?

Elections , Policy , PPAI Add comments

We are excited for our opening session at PPAI on the elections! What do the election results tell us about America today and our dreams for tomorrow?

We will use this opportunity to talk about the elections, and what effect the elected candidate’s positions will have for our sector. With the help of Joe Garofoli and Carla Marinucci, (both political reporters from the San Francisco Chronicle), we will hear what topics are trending throughout the country. Our discussion leader, Kyle Caldwell (president and CEO, Michigan Nonprofit Association), will help us look at what those trending topics mean for the charitable and non-profit sector.

Then with our nonprofit panel, which includes Anita Estell (shareholder, Polsinelli Shughart) and Rob Reich (co-director, Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, Stanford University), we will connect those topics with how to move forward with the missions and direction of our organizations and foundations. These experts will share their insights about the new Congress, the influence of money in politics, and the future of our sector and the people we serve.

It’s not too late to register for PPAI and attend this exciting session. Click now to register!
