PPAI Sneak Peek

Advocacy , GameChangers , Policy , PPAI Add comments

Autumn is, without question, the best time to visit San Francisco. By November the summer fog has disappeared, clearing the skies for dry sunny weather. And what better reason to visit SF then for IS’s annual Public Policy Action Institute?

We are excited to open PPAI this year with a discussion on the national election results and what they will mean for our sector. We will focus on the elements of successful nonprofit advocacy and its role in furthering our missions, as well as look forward to 2013 and what tax reform may mean for our work.

We are excited to have as our keynote luncheon speaker, Gavin Newsom, California Lieutenant Governor and former Mayor of San Francisco.

We will also have conversations with Larry Kramer, in-coming president at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Jonathan Greenblatt from the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation, who will give us an inside-the-beltway perspective on the White House policymaking process.

Take a look at our exciting agenda and a list of who’s coming to PPAI.

There still time to register for PPAI – and there are discounts for California nonprofits (contact us for more info).

See you in San Francisco!
