Room Rates
The Fairmont Chicago hotel has confirmed a special rate of $277 per night, single/double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes of 15% for attendees of the 2011 Independent Sector Annual Conference. To receive the conference rate, reservations must be made by Monday, September 26, 2011. The conference rate is available on a space available basis. The conference registration fee does not include hotel reservations, and all participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
Parking at the Hotel
The Fairmont Chicago Hotel’s valet parking service charges are as follows:
Up to Two hours: $24.00
Two to Six hours: $36.00
Six to 24-hours and overnight parking: $51.00

Air Travel
American Airlines has been designated as the official carrier for the attendees of the 2011 Independent Sector Annual Conference. American Airlines has agreed to offer discount fares for conference attendees. Airports

Ground Transportation

From O’Hare International Airport
Go Airport Express shuttle service is found just outside of the baggage claim area of terminals 1E, 3F, 2D and 5E and departs for downtown Chicago every 15 minutes. No reservation is required from the airport to downtown Chicago (discounted rates are available for advanced reservations only). However, you must make a reservation for your return trip. Single Regular Fares: $29 one-way and $53 round trip
From Midway Airport
Shared shuttle rides depart Midway Airport to all hotels in downtown Chicago every 15 minutes. Single Regular Fares: $24 one-way and $44 round trip
Taxi Service
Taxicabs are available on a first come, first serve basis from the lower level curb front of all terminals. Shared ride service is available. There are no flat rates, as all taxicabs run on meters. Expect to spend approximately $35 to $40 for taxi service to downtown Chicago from area airports. Public Transportation
Chicago's public transit system (CTA) is an easy and effective way to and from the airport. A one-way ticket is $2.25 per ride—daily. For more information on public transportation, visit www.transitchicago.com.
From O’Hare International Airport
The CTA Blue Line provides service directly into O'Hare Airport. The normal travel time on the Blue Line from O'Hare to downtown is 40-45 minutes. Blue Line trains run 24- hours a day, seven days a week; and all trains leaving the O’Hare station go through downtown.
From Midway Airport
The CTA Orange Line provides service directly to Midway Airport. The normal travel time to downtown from Midway is 20-25 minutes. Service operates all day, every day, except during overnight hours (roughly 1 am to 4am) or after 11 pm on Sundays.
