We are pleased to share our 2007 Annual Report. Because of the commitment and talent of our members, we have continued to strengthen our position as the leading voice on issues of importance to charities and foundations and have helped the nonprofit community fulfill its role as a powerful force for more vibrant communities and better lives. This year’s report, “Opportunity and Responsibility,” highlights how our coalition improved ethics and effectiveness, shaped public policy, and brought together people from across the nonprofit community. It also shares stories of five leaders at our member organizations who illustrate the many “vital voices" that are central to IS’s work. We thank our more than 600 members and the many volunteers and donors who have made our successes possible.

To conserve both financial and natural resources, the Annual Report will again this year be available for download. Following the IS Board of Directors’ review at their June meeting of our 2007 audit, full financial statements for the year will also be available online. We welcome your feedback on the format and content.
