IS is delighted to present the 2007 John W. Gardner Leadership Award to the Ford Foundation President Susan Berresford. Each year, the nonprofit community recognizes an individual working in the voluntary sector who, like John Gardner, has advanced the common good by building, mobilizing, and unifying institutions or causes. Attended by national and local nonprofit leaders from nearly 450 organizations, the award presentation at the dinner is a highlight of the conference. The dinner on Monday, October 22, at 7pm located at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, includes an inspiring presentation from the award recipient.
