The Westin St. Francis Hotel
The IS conference hotel for 2003 is the landmark Westin St. Francis, located in the heart of Union Square. Renowned for its legendary service, the historic Westin St. Francis boasts luxurious guest rooms and world-class dining. The hotel is located in downtown San Francisco, minutes from Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and the city's financial district.

The conference registration fee does not include hotel reservations, and all participants are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. Reservations are subject to availability, and space is limited. Special conference rate ends Monday, October 6. Please make your reservations by contacting the hotel directly. Airports
San Francisco is served by two nearby airports, San Francisco International (approximately 14 miles from the hotel) and Oakland International (approximately 20 miles from the hotel).

Travel to and from the Airport Shuttle
Several shuttles offer services from San Francisco International Airport, at a cost of approximately $12-$16 per person, and Oakland Airport, approximately $25 per person.

Cab fare from San Francisco International Airport to hotel ranges from $35.00 - $45.00 and from Oakland International Airport ranges from $55.00 - $65.00.

BART
The St. Francis Hotel is located about three blocks from the Powell Street BART Station. Attendees can ride the BART into downtown San Francisco from San Francisco International Airport and from Oakland International Airport.

San Francisco Muni
The closest bus stop to the St. Francis is the Geary Street stop located in front of the hotel.
