The 12 under-40 nonprofit professionals who comprise the inaugural cohort of the American Express NGen Fellows brought tremendous experience to their group project, which examined how emerging leaders across sectors can contribute to a conversation that generates collaborative solutions to society’s most pressing problems.
The findings suggest that more opportunities for leadership training and for engagement across sectors can produce more powerful solutions to these needs. The fellows' analysis and recommendations are not final conclusions, but instead provide an important springboard for further discussions about what leadership and collaboration really mean for NGen leaders and our communities.
To continue those exchanges, Independent Sector is hosting a webinar with the fellows. Join us on Thursday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET to probe these findings and discuss how we can collectively accelerate progress towards advancing the common good. Share your thoughts in advance by contributing to the NGen Forum.
