“Independent Sector applauds the nomination of Patrick Corvington as the chief executive for the Corporation for National and Community Service. Patrick’s work throughout his career, most recently at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, has provided him with a unique understanding about the myriad of challenges facing our communities today. Patrick’s extensive experience in social service delivery, capacity building, research and evaluation equips him exceptionally well to lead the Corporation at this time.
“Patrick’s active engagement with community leaders and his particular expertise around talent development will be invaluable in drawing in the best and brightest citizens committed to serving others.
